Our library section includes books on science, history, travel, wildlife, photography and of course, children’s books and literary fiction. Our library is updated weekly with new and landmark titles across genres. We keep our collection diverse and interesting and introduce members to genres they have been shying away from and encourage them to discover authors they have not read before.

Our library is currently open for browsing. For those who prefer browsing online, you could select your books on the online catalogue, and exchange books via local delivery partners. We can always connect and know more about what you are looking for. Look through the plans, and choose the one that best suits your reading speed.

We are also available via email (books@teltrilogy.com) and WhatsApp (9004444369) to help you find your next read.

Timings: Tuesday to Sunday, 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, and 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

HOW DOES THE ONLINE LIBRARY WORK?

  1. Members get access to our online catalogue. This catalogue shows you the books in the library, but is not updated in real time so it does not indicate which books are currently available for checkout.
  2. You can add books that you would like to read to the TO-READ lists. We recommend that you add a number of books so that there is some choice if some books are not available at the time of our next exchange of books.
  3. When you request your next exchange of books we will confirm with you which books from your TO-READ list are being sent. This is done via WhatsApp (or e-mail only for those who don’t use WhatsApp).
  4. Please request an exchange 24-48 hours in advance by telling us how many books you are returning. Accordingly the next set of books can be pulled out and confirmed with you.
  5. Once you finish reading your books, the reading period is 14 days, you can request for an exchange via WhatsApp.

Exchange of books:

There are three options available, depending on where you stay and which delivery partner is used for the exchange.

A) Curb-side pickup by yourself, your driver or office/home staff.

B) Delivery partners where pickup and delivery is scheduled separately. In this case, the books you currently hold are picked up by Delivery Staff A and a new set of books is delivered by Delivery Staff B.

C) Delivery partners where pickup and delivery is scheduled simultaneously. In this case the same person will bring you your new set of books and take back the old set of books.

When the exchange of books is done via a Delivery Partner (B and C above) each exchange is charged.

We will bill you in the first week of each month for the number of exchanges done in the previous month. The cost per exchange will be shared with you before the start of the membership. The cost is subject to change and you will be informed of such changes in advance. You can request a quote for the delivery charges by filling this form.

We will use the most reliable and user friendly delivery partner / courier service available in our address and which delivers to your address.

MEMBERSHIP PLANS

Choose a plan (explained below) that works best for you. The plans are based on the number of books you can issue out at a time. There is no limit to how often you come and change your books. You can keep a book with you for a maximum of 14 days. You have to return the books within 14 days else a late fee of Rs. 10 per book per day is applicable. A book can be reissued for a week more, only if no other member has requested for it.

The refundable security deposit is returned when you end the membership. The deposit is refunded after subtracting all dues. That is, pending renewals, accrued late fees and fines for damaged books, if any. The membership card has to be returned at the time of ending the membership.

Late fees are charged Rs. 10 per book, per day. These charges need to be paid before you issue out your next set of books. Please note, at the time of terminating your membership, if there are late fees that have not been paid, this will be deducted from the security deposit.

Very Basic, Basic and Individual plans

In these three plans, one single adult can sign-up and borrow books that are in the general section of the library, that is, not from the children’s section.

Couple and Family plans

In the Couples plan, two people can join the library –  two friends, siblings, husband-wife or parent and child. Collectively the two of them can borrow four books at a time. Keep them for up to two weeks, return as soon you are done reading and take more books.

With this plan you can choose from the general section and from the children’s sections. You can borrow books for adults and children.

The family plan works the same way as the Couples’ plan but you can take 8 books at a time.

Children Very Basic, Basic, and Advanced plans

In these three plans you can borrow books only for children. Siblings can share one plan. The plans indicate how many books you can take home at a time, that is, 2, 4 or 6 books. You can keep the books for a maximum of two weeks, return them as soon as you are done reading and take more books. The plans only indicate how many books you carry home at a time, they do not indicate any reading level.
